Stan & Gi Gi Horrell
Founders/President
Stan and Gi Gi Horrell have devoted over four decades to serving on the frontlines of God’s global mission. Answering God’s call, they have been actively involved in His work around the world—serving in a wide range of roles including, missionaries, mission pastor and senior pastor. Through their extensive experience, they have gained deep insight into every facet of global ministry. Their commitment has led to the planting of churches across the United States and have partnered with international leaders to advance church planting initiatives worldwide.
Their personal journey includes raising four devoted children who love the Lord. Alongside their joys, they’ve experienced a deep journey of grief with the loss of their daughter, who, as a young woman, was called call to her heavenly home.
Stan and Gi Gi feel deeply blessed to have formed meaningful relationships across the globe. Their passion lies in ensuring that Kingdom workers remain spiritually strong and emotionally healthy for ministry. This passion led to the founding of MissioCare Collective, where they now serve as executive leaders. Through MissioCare, they are committed to equipping and mobilizing future generations with every available resource to help fulfill the Great Commission.
In his role as President, Stan also serves as Chairman of the Board, providing visionary leadership and pastoral care to both staff and board members, ensuring the overall well-being of the ministry.
Kathy Thomas
Clinical Director
Kathy is a follower of Christ. Her identity is summed up in Him.
Kathy is a licensed psychologist and board-certified in neuropsychology. She has taught graduate classes/servant leadership classes at Multnomah University, Pepperdine University, Phoenix Seminary and Development Associates International. In addition to working in local ministry, she has also consulted for missionary teams in Italy, Russia, Africa, and Cambodia. Kathy has a special place in her heart for global worker care, conflict resolution, assessments and trauma recovery.
For MCC Kathy conducts assessments, provide guidance for care teams, trainings and trauma-informed care assuring the integration of evidence-based practices with a biblical world-view.
Andi Walters
Spiritual Foundations Director
Andi and her husband Bob have spent their lives investing in the next generation and serving the Kingdom both locally and globally. With a passion for helping women know God’s Word and embrace their identity in Christ, Andi has faithfully served in the Women's Ministry for over 20 years. She currently leads a Bible study group and is actively involved in her church’s women’s ministry and global workers team.
Her journey of sharing the love of Jesus began years ago through MOPS, igniting a lifelong call to disciple and encourage women in their walk with the Lord. Now living in Centralia, WA, Andi and Bob have begun a new season from careers in education but continue to live lives of purpose and service. Together, they have led multiple teams to Mexico to build homes in partnership with Homes of Hope, helping families experience God’s tangible love.
Andi and Bob are grateful parents to three grown sons, a beloved daughter-in-law, and now, proud grandparents to their grandson, Lawson. Whether serving across borders or around a Bible, Andi’s heart beats to see lives transformed by the truth of Scripture and the hope of Jesus.
Derek & Tori Schuessler
Executive Director
Derek and Tori are passionate about serving those on the frontlines of God’s mission, equipping Kingdom workers to thrive in their calling. They have followed God’s calling across a fascinating journey, one in which they continue to see the need to build up others. With 10 years of cross-cultural ministry experience, they bring a unique blend of leadership, vision, and a heart for global impact to their new role as Executive Directors of MissioCare Collective.
Together, they have cultivated a deep love for mobilizing and supporting others, drawing on their education, as well as personal and professional experiences, to strengthen and encourage workers around the world. They are committed to ensuring that those serving in ministry remain spiritually, emotionally, and physically equipped for the long haul.
Their journey together has been filled with the joys and challenges of raising two boys and wholeheartedly pursuing God’s purposes. They are honored to step into this role, building upon the foundation established by Stan and Gi Gi Horrell, as they steward the mission of MissioCare Collective and equip future generations to fulfill the Great Commission.
Gi Gi Horrell
Director of Global Care
Gi Gi, alongside her husband Stan, co-founded MissioCare Collective. She is deeply passionate about empowering women to thrive in the fullness of who God created them to be, and helping Kingdom workers remain spiritually and emotionally healthy so the Good News is proclaimed across the nations.
As Director of Global Care, Gi Gi leads initiatives to support global workers through MissioCare Collective’s collaborative work with dedicated staff who share her heart for ministering to those serving on the frontlines.
With 28 years of experience as a small business owner, Gi Gi is also a seasoned speaker and Bible teacher. She is a devoted follower of Jesus, continually seeking a deeper prayer life. She treasures her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother.
