Val Clark

Val and her husband, Dave, began their cross cultural journey in 1990 living and teaching in Sri Lanka until sickness had them return to Canada where Val’s husband pastored a church for 10+ years in Canada and central Texas, which is where they currently call home.  Their experiences in Sri Lanka and several years working in the UK sparked a passion for international life in all facets.

Val’s heart and passion for the care of men & women working in cross-cultural Kingdom work was sparked by multiple friends who are and have been global workers.

Her career has largely spanned the equine industry where she served as the Executive Director for two large Statewide horse organizations and was responsible for overseeing programs, strategic growth, organizational management and advocacy efforts. She hopes to use these skills to support and encourage MCC staff and workers in the global community as they serve in cross-cultural contexts.
