Shepherd Care - The Shepherd Who Restores
Shepherd Care – Part 3
The Shepherd Who Restores
Serving on mission is holy work—but it is also costly. Over time, both body and soul can grow weary. Our Shepherd knows this. Psalm 23:2 says, “He makes me lie down in green pastures”—not as a burden or obligation, but as a loving invitation to rest in His presence.
Restoration isn’t something we earn; it’s something He gives. Strategy and effort may keep us moving, but only the Shepherd can truly restore our souls.
Global workers don’t just need rest after they burn out—they need regular rhythms of renewal along the way. And in His kindness, God calls His servants to Sabbath, to slow down, to reflect, and to receive care.
At MissioCare Collective, this is the kind of care we seek to embody. Through safe spaces, biblical counsel, and time set aside to process, we echo the Shepherd’s heart. We remind global workers that they are seen, valued, and sustained—not by their output, but by His grace.
In the end, mission isn’t just about going—it’s about abiding.
